This Gorgeous 7" porcelain, limited edition, numbered plate, is crafted from Shumann fine porcelain.
Painted in Germany by Artist: Helmut Meiner.
It is dated 1991 and numbered 5819C.
It is the First plate in the "Hidden Treasures of the Wood" Series;
Majestically titled: "Walderdbeeren im Moos" (Wild Strawberries in the Moss)
Authentically so, all of the description on the back side of the plate is in German.
Meiner depicts eachleaf and flower in exquisite color and detail. For a breathtaking sense of depth, he sets each of these delicate wild blooms against a deep black background - like sparkling jewels nestled in black satin.
This stand alone piece is rimmed in a shiny touch of gold that draws the eye in from first glance.
